When is it really the printhead?
Missing vertical lines, faded output and inconsistent print can be printhead-related, but contamination, platen wear, ribbon mismatch, incorrect heat settings or label residue can produce similar symptoms.
Before replacing an expensive component, clean the printhead correctly and inspect the platen roller and media path. Ansutek can help troubleshoot the fault or service the printer if you are not certain.
